Transport Planner – Scotts Fuels / Lisburn Fuels / Scotts Lubricants
We require a transport planner to join our team based in Head Office.
This is a prime opportunity for a career minded & ambitious individual to join one of NI largest fuels & lubricants businesses with over 75yrs experience delivering products throughout NI.
Key Roles:
Communicating with drivers to ensure deliveries are completed as per schedule & any issues that arise are dealt with in a timely manner
Plan & Schedule delivery routes for drivers daily to make them as efficient as possible
Ensure driver performance is effectively managed
Maintain Compliance with relevant regulations & safety standards
Work with maintenance team to ensure vehicle services, maintenance & safety checks are completed as per schedule
Review transport plans & data to help with continuous improvement on route optimization

Skills & experience
– 1-2yrs experience in transport industry (Preferred but not essential as in house training will be provided).
– Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
– Proficient IT Skills in Microsoft Excel & transport Management systems.
– Excellent written & verbal communication skills .
– A proactive & customer focused approach .
– Good geographical knowledge of NI.
Hours
Mon – Fri 08.30 – 17.30
(With one early finish per week)
Sat 09.00-12.30 (Paid above salary on a rota basis one in 5 average)
Salary
Salary dependant on experience between £39,000 to £45,000
