We are working with one of London’s most exciting independent hospitality businesses to find a General Manager for a high-volume venue that blends food, drink, entertainment, culture and community under one roof.
This is not a traditional pub, restaurant or events venue. It is a destination. A place where guests come to meet friends, celebrate milestones, watch live sport, enjoy live music, attend community events, bring their families, host corporate gatherings and spend an entire day or evening immersed in great hospitality. The venue welcomes thousands of guests every month and has become a much-loved fixture within the local area.
The Opportunity:
As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the operation, leading a large management and frontline team while driving guest experience, commercial performance and team engagement.
You will be the face of the venue, creating an environment where people love to work and guests cannot wait to return.
This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable delivering exceptional hospitality, managing large-scale events, developing future leaders and driving strong financial performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading, inspiring and developing a large, multi-functional team
- Creating a culture centred around hospitality, energy and community
- Owning the venue P&L and delivering commercial targets
- Driving guest satisfaction and operational excellence
- Overseeing a busy programme of events, activations and private hires
- Building strong relationships across the local community
- Ensuring outstanding standards across food, drink and service
- Working closely with senior leadership to help shape the future growth of the business
About You:
You are likely an experienced General Manager from a high-volume hospitality, leisure, events or entertainment environment.
You will be:
- A natural people leader who builds high-performing teams
- Commercially astute with strong P&L ownership experience
- Passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Experienced in events, large guest numbers and complex operations
- Energised by independent businesses with personality and purpose
- Hands-on, visible and happy leading from the floor
