Overview
The Investment Associate will support the Digital Infrastructure investment team across a broad range of activities, including origination, analysis, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management.
The role requires strong analytical capabilities, including financial modelling and valuation, as well as contributing to internal and external investment materials. The Associate will work closely with senior members of the team, particularly at the Vice President and Director level, while formally reporting to Managing Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse new investment opportunities and support the management of existing portfolio companies
- Work as part of deal teams to support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions
- Prepare and present investment materials for Investment Committee consideration
- Lead financial modelling and valuation analysis
- Support strategic initiatives, including portfolio planning and development projects
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, consultants, lawyers, and investors
- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, including pitch books and target analysis
- Support valuation, portfolio monitoring, and compliance reporting processes
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in investment banking and/or investing roles
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
- Sound commercial judgment and problem-solving ability
- Team-oriented, with the maturity and integrity to engage with senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong academic background
- Prior infrastructure or digital infrastructure experience is beneficial but not required
- Understanding of complex financial analysis
