Responsibilities
- Work closely with our People and Legal teams globally to provide strategic advice on employment law-related issues, including recruitment, payroll and tax, compensation and benefits, and people operations.
- Draft and advise on employment-related agreements and policies globally, including employment contracts and offer letters, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements and codes of conduct.
- Advise, partner and liaise with various internal stakeholders to develop processes and provide training for common employee-related issues, and drive other employment-related projects and initiatives.
- Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and restructuring processes.
- Advise on employment disputes and oversee employment tribunal (and overseas equivalent) cases.
- Provide guidance on employment law developments across the countries in which Wise operates, helping ensure our practices remain aligned with local legal frameworks.
- Report to Senior Legal Counsel (Employment).

Qualifications
- UK-qualified employment lawyer with 2 to 4 years PQE.
- Ability to navigate difficult issues and multiple stakeholders, advising the business on key benefits and risks, and developing solutions.
- Ability to juggle multiple matters at once across different jurisdictions.
- Ability to communicate legal advice in a succinct and pragmatic way to different areas of the business.
- Have a get-it-done, collaborative approach to problem solving.
