Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy legal team based in the Dungannon area.
This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting solicitors with day-to-day administrative and secretarial duties, including document preparation, case management, and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Manage and maintain accurate case files (both electronic and paper-based)
- Coordinate diaries, including court dates, meetings, and client appointments
- Act as a first point of contact for clients, handling calls and enquiries professionally
- Prepare and submit court documents in line with required deadlines and procedures
- Draft routine correspondence including emails, letters, and memos
- Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, photocopying, and ordering supplies
- Ensure all confidential information is handled appropriately and securely
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English, Grade C or above)
- At least 2 years experience in a Legal Secretary or Office Administration role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
