Finance Manager

Role – Finance Manager Location – Manchester Salary – £65,000 to £75,000 Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing transport organisation in their search for a Finance Manager to work out of their office based just outside Manchester city centre. The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and have previous experience of working within a commercially focused role. An ability to interpret large volumes of data and deliver impactful insights is essential. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to Power BI would be a distinct advantage. The Finance Manager will need to be able to develop strong relationships throughout the business and will also have an involvement in the month-end process. Key duties for the Finance Manager role will involve: Month-end accounting Budgeting and forecasting Review of business cases P & L analysis Strategic financial planning Lead on continuous improvement – look at improving processes and systems Build strong relationships with the senior management team Identify risks and opportunities Salary for the role is between £65,000 and £75,000 This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual who is happy to get involved with both month-end processes and commercial accounting.
