- Health Improvement & Protection: Oversee a diverse portfolio that may include health protection, chronic disease prevention, or tackling health inequalities in underserved communities.
- Collaborative Working: Build strong relationships with senior clinicians, managers, and elected members to advocate for “health in all policies”.
- Change Agent: Manage complex projects and budgets to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services that improve long-term health outcomes.

- Education: A Master’s in Public Health or equivalent is desirable, alongside a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent evidence for non-UK trained applicants.
- Skills: Proven leadership in a political environment, high intellectual rigour, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience: Demonstrable success in delivering change management programmes across organisational boundaries and managing departmental budgets.
Benefits of Working for Enfield
- Competitive Salary: Aligned with senior management pay grades (Grade Dir/Head level).
- Work-Life Balance: A mix of in-person and hybrid working will be required.
