Job Description

We’re looking for an Oracle HCM Cloud Talent and Learn Consultant with stakeholder management exposure in the implementation of Oracle’s Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions for UK public sector clients. The primary responsibility will be to interface with key stakeholders and lead the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud modules in Agile mode, guiding the design, development and support of components such as data migration, integrations, and reports, and managing stakeholder status reporting.

Your role

As an Oracle HCM Cloud Talent and Learn Lead, you will provide impactful functional solutions to our clients, leading client engagements and translating complex functional and technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences. You will guide projects through the SDLC, ensuring smooth delivery and top system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Hands‑on experience with Talent and Learn modules for UK public sector clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full SDLC, including conference room pilots, playback sessions, training content preparation, and delivery.
  • Designing and building security roles – job roles, data roles, and security profiles.
  • Proficiency in Redwood enablement tools for enhancing user experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and mitigate technical, functional, and security risks.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience working in a global delivery environment.
  • Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations, and maintaining RAID logs.

Required

  • 14+ years of Information Technology experience.
  • 8+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud – Talent and Learn modules, including configuring approvals, DFFs, EFFs, and journeys.
  • Hands‑on experience with UK public sector clients, proficient in all Talent and Learn processes.
  • Ability to lead discussions on integrations, data migrations, and reporting.
  • Well versed in designing and building security roles – job roles, data roles, and security profiles.
  • Proficient in Redwood enablement tools for enhancing user experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
  • Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations, and maintaining RAID logs.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of HCM technical tools including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, and Fast Formulae.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams.
  • Experience managing a team of 6+.
