Job overview

Team Administrator role based in Norwich with a 6‑month fixed term. The role supports a busy clinical team providing a responsive administration service for child and adult mental health services.

Main duties of the job

This role involves a range of administration duties to meet the needs of our clinical teams and service users, including business process, referrals, data entry and performance compliance.

  • Update the Trust’s electronic records system (Lorenzo) – entering information accurately and timely, including referrals, patient records and transfer of cases.
  • Manage assessment and triage spreadsheets.
  • Book assessment appointments and follow up outcomes.
  • Handle incoming calls, including sensitive calls from distressed individuals.
  • Liaise with other teams.
  • Support clinicians to maintain electronic patient records.
  • Type letters.
  • Maintain and monitor spreadsheets.
  • Collate and distribute reports.
  • Undertake other duties as required, adapting to service needs across the locality.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services or equivalent.

Experience

  • Efficiently and politely dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Data entry or similar role.
  • Experience working in a busy office area.
  • Experience in the NHS.

Skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a variety of tasks.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
