Job Description:

This position within the Careers Service at Royal Holloway focuses on community partner relationships and the delivery of key volunteering events. You will be part of the Volunteering team at an exciting phase of expansion, leading a variety of community partner schemes and initiatives, working with charities and non‑profit organisations to provide engaging volunteering opportunities for Royal Holloway students and coordinating key events such as the Festival of Volunteering and the Royal Holloway Volunteering Awards.

As a key member of the Volunteering Hub on the Egham campus, you will work closely with the Volunteering staff and other Careers teams. You will have excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and experience managing teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, appreciation of volunteering, and understanding of the student journey are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community partner schemes and initiatives.
  • Coordinate key volunteering events.
  • Communicate with local charities, government authorities, non‑profit organisations, students and university colleagues.
  • Support the RH2030s strategy and the University of Social Purpose.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Appreciation of volunteering and understanding of the student journey.
