Casual Activity Leader – Biggleswade Academy

Pay: Up to £12.71

Join our team as a Childcare Activity Leader and bring excitement to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Deliver exciting, age‑appropriate activities such as multi‑sports, arts & crafts, group games and creative play.
- Set up engaging play spaces and keep them safe, clean and welcoming.
- Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels safe and included.
- Prepare snacks and manage sign‑in/out processes with attention to detail.
- Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00 am and 3:00–6:00 pm, which allows flexibility for study, hobbies or family.
- Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

- Bonus if you have experience in teaching, coaching, childcare or youth work (personality is equally important).
Compliance: This role requires adherence to the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references (one from your most recent employer and one from a childcare setting if applicable). A DBS check will be conducted, so please prepare the correct documentation.
