Job Ref: 13192, Apprenticeship – Level 2, £8.00 per hour, Brislington, Bristol BS4 3QB. Closing date: 13/05/2026.

Overview

The Parts Department is at the heart of our operations. Parts Advisors are responsible for stock control of vehicle parts and accessories, ensuring trade counter customers and workshop teams have the parts they need.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to customers with vehicle problems.
  • Take sales orders face‑to‑face and over the phone.
  • Control stock for vehicle parts and accessories.
  • Maintain an organized stock room.
  • Raise invoices for parts sold.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure correct stock is placed at the right time.

Training Provided

Training will be delivered via a combination of virtual classroom remote learning and face‑to‑face block release weeks at our state‑of‑the‑art training centre. Successful applicants must be prepared to travel to the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. All training‑related costs, including travel, accommodation, and meals, are fully covered.

Qualifications Received

  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard
  • Brand specific certifications

Future Prospects

Upon completion, earning potential exceeds £20,000. Apprentices may progress to team leader, manager, or positions at Head Office in Milton Keynes.

Qualifications Required

GCSE grades 9–4 (A–C) or equivalent in English, Maths and one other subject. In Scotland: Scottish National 5 grades A–C in English, Maths and a Science or Technical subject.

  • BTEC first diplomas and certificates
  • OCR Nationals
  • Key Skills Level 2
  • NVQs

Essential Skills (Regions)

Functional Skills Level 2 (Wales), Core Skills (Scotland).
