Responsibilities
- Internal sales role dealing with a large range of tiles and associated products such as tiles, washrooms, wall panels, tile adhesives, grouts, sealants, tile trims, tile waterproofing, tile backing, etc.
- Manage incoming sales inbox of orders.
- Process orders accurately, efficiently, and promptly to meet customer needs.
- Keep customers informed and updated on scheduled delivery date/time and any changes to products/backorder items or offer alternatives.
- Learn and teach new customers on product range.
- Answer phones, understand their needs, and handle enquiries/orders.
- Take and auction orders.
- Assist with delivery queries from customers and follow through to satisfaction.
- Contribute to building an enthusiastic and positive culture in the Customer Service Team.
- Contribute to growth into new markets and sectors.
- Meet KPIs based on daily phone calls, order mistakes and orders processed.
Qualifications
- Must have 2+ years sales experience within the construction industry.
- Experience within the commercial tiling market sector is beneficial but not essential.
- Outgoing individual who is not scared of making outbound calls.
- Capacity and willingness to learn product knowledge.
- Professional and presentable at all times.
- Go‑getter with roll‑sleeves‑up mentality.
- Willing and helpful can‑do attitude on the phone.
