HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver – New Deer, Aberdeenshire

Job Summary

We are seeking a HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver based in New Deer, Aberdeenshire, offering a salary of £37,500 plus overtime and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker vehicles safely, ensuring compliance with road regulations and site procedures.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects, and maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
• Deliver and collect tanker and company vehicles, ensuring timely inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Cover additional duties including food waste collections and weekend work as needed.
• Early starts are required for daily journeys to Cumbernauld.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must hold an HGV Class 1 license, Driver CPC, Digi Tachograph Card, and have at least 1 year of driving experience. Previous tanker experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided.

Location and Commute

Reliable commute or relocation to Turriff AB53 6YH is essential.
