Here at Blue Skies Education we are working in partnership with a primary school trust in Enfield to facilitate education in a mainstream setting which includes children with SEND profiles. These children present behaviours profiles that can be challenging and they need additional support and care in their school life so they can flourish in an inclusive learning environment.
Often the children will have a background of trauma, adverse childhood experiences and/or be neuro‑divergent (e.g., ADHD, ASC).
We are looking for graduates who have an interest to maybe become a teacher and want to gain practical experience to understand the role. You will become a mentor for these children, supporting and inspiring them each day. It is a truly unique opportunity to change the lives of the children you work with and help guide them through some of the most challenging phases in their young lives.
Ideally you will be a graduate, as this opportunity offers significant experience for a graduate to build a portfolio for future training in education, teaching and psychology/psychotherapy fields.
This position will begin via Blue Skies Education as an agency worker but will present the opportunity for a permanent contract directly with the school if the temporary period is a success for you, the school and the students.
If you are compassionate, confident, inspiring, a skilled communicator with a genuine interest to make a difference for children that really need it, the lack of direct experience in a similar role will be superseded.
Please call us for a detailed conversation and we can discuss how this role ties in with your future career goals; it will undoubtedly suit aspiring teachers, psychologists, art psychotherapists, speech and language therapists, and more.
