Healthcare Assistant
Department: Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers
Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time
Location: Priory Hospital Dewsbury
Compensation: £13.45 / hour
Description
Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit Permanent Healthcare Assistants to join them on a full time basis.
Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and increasing physical health needs. We also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health.
Although Dewsbury is not a 24/7 acute hospital, we are well‑placed to provide support to acute patients within our dementia services, for those who require an alternative setting to an acute psychiatric ward. Admissions can also take place due to other placement breakdowns (either from their home or other care environment), or step‑downs from prison settings.
