Role Overview
A School Crossing Patrol is required for Lancaster Road, Overton. The crossing is directly outside Overton St Helens School Primary. Hours are 08:05 – 08:35 and 14:20 – 14:50 weekdays during term time, 38 weeks a year.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the school crossing at Lancaster Road, Overton.
- Ensure the safety of students during the designated times.
- Maintain uniform and attend training provided.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Pass DBS clearance and meet medical suitability for the post.
- Provide 2 suitable references.
- Apply via internal vacancies if already a Lancashire County Council employee.
Additional Information
Payment is FLW, currently £12.60 an hour for a minimum of 5 hours a week (varies at each crossing point) annualised. The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
