Gambit Search has recently partnered with a rapidly growing accountancy practice in the North-West that is looking to appoint an Insolvency Assistant Manager to join its busy and expanding insolvency team.

The Role

As an Insolvency Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of complex corporate insolvency appointments, while supporting senior leadership in the delivery of high-quality client service. You will gain exposure across:

  • Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs)
  • Members’ Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs)
  • Administrations

You will oversee cases from appointment through to closure, taking a lead role in liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors, and other key stakeholders. You will also support, review, and mentor junior members of the team, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

The role offers the opportunity to take greater ownership of case management, contribute to team development, and play an active part in the continued growth of the insolvency practice.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience working within corporate insolvency, ideally with experience managing a portfolio of cases independently
  • Strong technical understanding of insolvency procedures and legislation
  • Experience supervising, reviewing, or mentoring junior team members would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • CPI, ACA, ACCA, JIEB, or other relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
