HSE Advisor

Location: West London

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Package

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects.

This role will suit a proactive and engaging HSE professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment. Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors and project leadership, you will play a key role in driving a positive safety culture and ensuring high standards of health, safety and wellbeing are maintained throughout project delivery. The HSE Advisor key responsibilities:

  • Support HSE performance across a major infrastructure project
  • Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace tours
  • Advise project teams and supply chain partners on HSE best practice and compliance
  • Support the delivery of HSW KPIs and project objectives
  • Assist with incident investigations, near misses and corrective actions
  • Review risk management processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across site
  • Engage with project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders
  • Support operational teams with the safe planning and delivery of works
  • Produce reports and monitor project HSE performance

The HSE Advisor will have:

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
  • TechIOSH, GradIOSH or working towards professional membership
  • Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, rail or major construction projects
  • Strong auditing, inspection and incident investigation experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience influencing site teams and driving positive behavioural change
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to health and safety
