Software Engineering Manager

We’re partnered with a well-established, tech-driven business investing heavily in engineering as they continue to scale both their retail and digital platforms.

They’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a multi-skilled team delivering a critical retail platform used across a large estate.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading, coaching, and developing engineers and Tech Leads
• Driving delivery and continuous improvement
• Managing stakeholders and aligning priorities
• Setting technical direction alongside senior engineers
• Embedding strong engineering practices

What they’re looking for

• Experience leading agile engineering teams
• Strong people leadership skills
• Solid understanding of modern engineering practices
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes
• Technical background in software engineering

Nice to have

• Cloud experience (AWS ideal)
• Experience with large-scale or retail systems
