Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding UK and international tax advisory projects and support growth in the private capital market.
- Drive the creation and growth of key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service.
- Help people to develop through supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
- Manage the team in terms of strategy, operations, staff development and assignments.
- Provide high‑level familiarity and practical tax knowledge in advising individuals, families and their investment structures; UK corporate tax and/or partnership matters.
- Deliver pragmatic, solution‑oriented advice in a commercial context.
- Identify and convert business development opportunities to sell work.
- Ensure delivery of quality work and provide day‑to‑day leadership of the delivery team.
- Maintain computer literacy and adapt to new systems.
Qualifications
- ACA, CTA, Tax Inspector or equivalent with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification.
- Strong tax technical skills.
- Initiative, professionalism and confidence.
- Experience of coaching and developing junior staff.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Ability to motivate a team, manage, mentor and train junior staff and work with people across the business.
