Are you a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for data centres? AECOM is looking for an Associate Director Data Centre Mechanical Engineer to lead cutting‑edge projects in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Design Excellence: Oversee the mechanical design and engineering for data centre projects, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Project Leadership: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep abreast of industry advancements and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in mechanical engineering within the data centre sector, with a focus on design and project management.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field; professional engineering registration is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success.
- Global Perspective: Experience working in or with data centre markets from prominent regions is highly desirable.
