Area Sales Manager (Paints / Industrial Coatings)

£45,000 – £50,000 (OTE £60k) + uncapped commission, car/car allowance, company bonus, training and progression.

Location: Leeds, North West Patch.

We are a leading manufacturer of industrial paints, powder coatings, and pretreatment solutions with over 100 years of experience, supplying sectors including manufacturing, defence, aerospace, automotive and general industrial markets.

The Role

• 30% Account management and 70% new business.
• Sell paints and industrial coatings to customers across the North West patch, from Derby to Newcastle.
• Operate remotely, traveling to customer sites 3–4 days a week.
• Work Monday‑Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

The Person

• Area Sales Manager or equivalent role in paints or industrial coatings.
• Strong understanding of the paints and coatings market, including industrial and aerospace customers.
• Proven ability to acquire and grow new business while maintaining existing accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous and willing to travel extensively within the designated region.
