Project Engineer – Commissioning

Location: West Kilbride. Contract position, office based.

Company

We’re working with a UK nuclear company responsible for safely decommissioning and restoring former nuclear power and research sites across the UK.

Role

This role is for a Project Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results‑orientated and driven to succeed. You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Physical testing on the plant
• Production of maintenance and Plant Operating instructions
• Requirement to raise faults and resolutions and fault observations
• Production of site documentation
• Risk assessments
• Design change process and implementation

Qualifications

• Commissioning background with exposure to testing
• Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, C&I or Civil) in an industrial plant
• Nuclear and/or conventional project engineering experience
• Working knowledge of CDM Design
• Contract management experience
• Project delivery experience
