£130m Turnover Multi‑Site Business | Reporting to the CFO

Role Purpose

Lead the modernisation and transformation of the finance function, driving end to end process optimisation, systems improvement, AI‑enabled efficiencies, automation, and data‑led decision making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the finance transformation roadmap.
• Lead finance systems, ERP, automation and AI initiatives.
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Manage major finance transformation programmes and projects.
• Partner with the Head of Finance to improve reporting, controls and forecasting.
• Lead change management, stakeholder engagement and adoption.
• Establish KPIs and track transformation benefits.
• Work with IT and external partners on digital finance initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven finance transformation leadership experience.
• Experience implementing AI and automation within finance.
• Strong programme and project management capability.
• Experience in multi‑site businesses preferred.

Interaction with Head of Finance

The Head of Finance owns day‑to‑day finance operations, reporting, controls, budgeting and team management. The Head of Finance Transformation owns specific finance improvement projects, systems enhancement, AI implementation, automation, process redesign and major change programmes. Both roles report to the CFO and work closely together.
