Financial Reporting Manager

£70,000 – £75,000 + 20% bonus and great benefits

Central London offices hybrid working

We’re seeking a technically strong finance professional to own statutory reporting and balance sheet integrity for a fast-moving, multi-entity business. You’ll lead audits, manage complex accounting areas, and ensure financial statements are accurate, transparent, and audit-ready.

What you’ll do

• Take full ownership of statutory accounts and external reporting under UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS.
• Lead external audits from planning to delivery, ensuring a smooth, well‑documented process.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on leases (IFRS 16), impairments (IAS 36), and property accounting.
• Strengthen balance sheet controls through reconciliations, sign-offs, and robust governance.
• Partner with Management Accounting and other stakeholders to align reporting and performance insights.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing Financial Accounting team.

What we’re looking for

• ACCA or ACA qualified with strong statutory reporting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS 16 leases, IAS 36 impairments, and complex accounting judgements.
• Proven track record of managing audits end‑to‑end.
• Strong focus on controls, balance sheet governance, and documentation.
• Excellent communicator capable of translating technical accounting for non‑finance teams.
• Process‑oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience in multi‑entity or group reporting.
• Background in hospitality, retail, or property‑heavy sectors.
• Experience with control enhancements or statutory reporting process improvements.
