National Sales Manager
What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of Regional Account Managers to deliver revenue, market share, and customer engagement objectives.
- Translate brand strategy into effective account and customer plans, informed by market, customer, and NHS insights.
- Drive key account segmentation, prioritization, and execution to maximize short‑ and long‑term business performance.
- Ensure disciplined execution of territory plans, key account strategies, brand campaigns, and customer engagement activities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members via a high‑performing culture of talent development, succession planning, and field‑based leadership.
- Contribute to sales incentive design, goal setting, and performance evaluation processes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement through strong matrix leadership and emotional intelligence.
What we expect of you
- Extensive pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial experience, with biosimilars experience preferred.
- Proven people leadership/stakeholder influence and performance coaching capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of the UK healthcare landscape, reimbursement environment, and ABPI compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, implement innovation, and adapt to evolving customer insights.
- Strong commercial, business planning, and budget management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional leadership capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive insights and decision‑making.
- High emotional intelligence, growth mindset, and enterprise leadership orientation, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Degree educated, ability to travel and a valid driving licence.

Location
This is a national role and can be based anywhere in the UK, with frequent travel required.
