About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer with expertise in React Native and TypeScript to join our client’s dynamic team based in London. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative mobile applications that utilize computer vision and AR technologies. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance React Native applications that deliver seamless user experiences across iOS and Android platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, with a proven track record of shipping successful apps through the App Store. You will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture and performance optimization of the platform, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and robust mobile solutions. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects within a collaborative environment that values innovation, quality, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Senior Mobile Developer, with a focus on React Native and TypeScript.
- Proven experience in building and deploying React Native applications, including publishing to the Apple App Store.
- Strong understanding of iOS development using Swift; Android development experience is advantageous.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Xcode Cloud, Bitrise, Fastlane, or GitHub Actions.
- Deep knowledge of REST APIs, testing frameworks, and mobile app architecture best practices.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, Zustand, or Context API.
- Familiarity with ARKit, AR, or mobile 3D technologies is desirable.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver innovative features.
- Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalable, maintainable, and performant mobile solutions.
- Implement and optimize app performance, ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third‑party services to enhance app functionality.
- Manage the deployment pipeline, including continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development workflows.
- Contribute to the exploration and integration of AR and AI technologies to enhance app capabilities.
Benefits
