Product Owner – Client Onboarding – London

Join one of the leading and fastest growing professional services firms as a Product Owner for our Client Onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the continuous improvement of the Client Onboarding process through the delivery of market leading technology.
  • Develop the overall product vision and engage the team and stakeholders in the delivery of that vision.
  • Work closely with the Head of Client Onboarding to manage the product backlog and prioritise features in accordance with colleague requirements.
  • Own the relationship with the Vendor, ensuring backlog items are clearly understood and requirements/scope fully defined.
  • Lead the planning, review and refinement of all development activities, accepting or rejecting work based on agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Act as primary liaison for the product across the firm, ensuring information is shared effectively between the vendors, Client Onboarding and Technical teams.
  • Manage the budget and scope for any development, track the ongoing BAU budget and liaise with Procurement, Legal and Vendor teams as appropriate.
  • Work with Information Security and Data Protection teams to manage any known risks and coordinate activities such as annual penetration testing and DPIA reviews.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of product management techniques.
  • Experience in a professional services or financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to provide direction and empowerment to high performing, multidisciplinary teams while ensuring ROI.
  • Familiarity with processes, complexities and regulatory requirements that the business faces when engaging with clients to ensure the Workflow Tool “InTapp” is fit for purpose.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills with management, team, peers and vendors.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Focus on service and continuous improvement.
  • Good project management skills.

Nice to haves

  • ITIL Foundation or relevant ITIL intermediate qualifications.
  • Understanding of InTapp and Client Onboarding.
