Job Overview

Ada Infrastructure is a global data center business focused on sustainable, safe, and secure digital infrastructure. We are seeking an EHS Manager to lead the implementation of environmental, health, and safety policies across our UK-based facilities, ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement local policies and procedures to align with global company standards.
  • Conduct hazard analyses, risk assessments, and site inspections to identify safety concerns.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for construction and operational risks such as high‑voltage equipment, battery storage systems, working at heights, and confined space work.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement through regular engagement with stakeholders.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, near‑misses, or incidents in construction and data center operations.
  • Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions and reduce recurrence.
  • Participate in root‑cause analyses and ensure proper incident reporting to leadership and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay updated on EHS regulations and industry standards such as OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and others.
  • Organize, conduct, and oversee safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make continual improvements.
  • Track, analyze, and report on EHS metrics; provide recommendations to leadership based on leading and lagging indicators.
  • Integrate EHS principles into design reviews to mitigate risks during early project phases.
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to implement design features that reduce exposure to hazards while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of EHS experience, including managerial or leadership roles.
  • Experience in data centers, critical facilities, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with contractor safety programs.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software, tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
