Operational Project Manager

Location: Aberdeen

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months temporary to permanent

Inside IR35

Rates: £28.89 PAYE / £37 per hour Umbrella

37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Job Overview

  • Tender management
  • Commercial management and reporting of projects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Accurate recording of project progress using the in‑company Project Management system
  • Management of third‑party services and vendors as necessary
  • Manage scope, specification, time, cost & quality of assigned projects through ASC
  • Communication of project updates to stakeholders as necessary
  • Liase with Engineering team to define scopes and requirements
  • Ensure right‑first‑time delivery
  • Work closely with Workshop Supervisor and facility Planner
  • Rotating Equipment experience preferred

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will oversee tender processes and be responsible for commercial management and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You will ensure accurate recording of project progress using our Project Management system.
  • You will coordinate with third‑party services and vendors to effectively meet project requirements.
  • You will lead the scope, specification, time, cost, and quality of assigned projects through ASC.
  • You will communicate project updates to partners, ensuring visibility and alignment.

What You Bring

  • Experience in project management, particularly in tender and commercial management.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for accurate project progress recording.
  • Experience managing third‑party services and vendors effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills for engaging with collaborators.
  • Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • A drive for excellence and a dedication to ensuring right‑first‑time delivery.

PPE provided by client & H&S on site – first day induction. Hazards associated with site such as trips, slips and falls.
