Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Finance & IT, you will lead the day‑to‑day management of the finance function. Key duties include monthly financial reporting, quarterly reforecasts, annual budget coordination, partnering with senior stakeholders, leading the annual accounts and external audit, and managing a team of 3 (2.2 FTE) to deliver robust financial control and charity reporting.
Experience Required
- CCAB qualified financial professional (or finalist)
- Experience as a senior finance professional in a charity with fundraised income £1m or more
- Strong business‑partnering skills with senior operational leaders
- Strong financial reporting, controls and systems confidence
- Ability to work both strategically and hands‑on
- Familiarity with charity SORP
- Strong people‑management and leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team
- Excellent accounting, analytical, and communication skills, with a pragmatic and solution‑focused approach
