Lead Dental Nurse – Salisbury, Wiltshire – Full Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Salisbury, Wiltshire to recruit a Lead Dental Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

Position Details

• Available to start as soon as possible.
• Notice periods will be taken into consideration.
• Full‑time opportunity – 40 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Role Responsibilities

The successful Lead Dental Nurse will be responsible for:

• Chairside assistance and patient care.
• Infection prevention and control procedures.
• Instrument decontamination and surgery preparation.
• Maintaining equipment and clinical standards.
• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of Dental Nurses.
• Overseeing reception duties and staff rotas.
• Ensuring CQC compliance and managing audits.
• Stock control and ordering.
• Supporting the Practice Manager with the smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice.
• Providing occasional reception cover when required.

About the Practice

The practice provides a range of treatments including:

• General Dentistry
• Restorative Dentistry
• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Orthodontics

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ Dental Nursing experience required.
• Previous leadership or senior nursing experience preferred.
• GDC registered.
• Valid DBS certificate.
• Dentally software experience preferred.
