Are you calm, patient and experienced in supporting people with Autism and complex care needs?

At Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall, we are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to support two customers, one in the St Austell area and one in Truro. This is a meaningful 20‑hour‑per‑week role where you can build trust, provide consistent support and make a real difference to someone’s everyday life.

This role would suit someone who understands the importance of patience, routine, reassurance and person‑centred support. You may have experience in Autism support, complex care, learning disabilities, mental health, support work or a similar care setting.

You’ll be supporting customers in a calm, respectful and individual way, helping them feel safe, understood and as independent as possible.

If you are heartfelt, reliable and passionate about helping others, you’ll be part of a supportive Care Expert Team where your experience is valued, your training is ongoing, and you are supported to feel confident in your role.

Your role may include supporting daily routines, personal care, emotional reassurance, communication, community access, independence and following individual care plans. Most importantly, you’ll be a trusted, familiar face who helps each customer feel comfortable, confident and listened to.

Experience requiredPrevious experience supporting people with Autism and complex care needs is required for this role.
