Refuse Loader

About the Role

As a Refuse Loader, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our communities clean and tidy. This is a physically demanding role that requires commitment and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collect and empty household or commercial waste bins onto collection vehicles.
• Assist the driver in completing routes and operating collection equipment safely.
• Maintain the cleanliness of collection areas and vehicles, ensuring areas are tidy after collection and treating vehicles with respect.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness – walk long distances, stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Available to work Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to approximately 4:30 pm.
