Overview
Join our family-owned restaurant, Wood Oven, as a versatile Cook and Waiter/Waitress. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can contribute both in the kitchen and on the floor to provide an excellent dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of our menu items, with a focus on Turkish cuisine.
- Ensuring the kitchen area is clean, organized, and adheres to food safety standards.
- Greeting and seating customers warmly, presenting menus, and taking accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serving meals and drinks efficiently and courteously.
- Handling customer inquiries and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Processing payments and managing till operations.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a kitchen and/or front-of-house role, ideally within a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of Turkish cuisine and cooking techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to food hygiene and safety.
- English – Advanced.
