We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching and Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team and help provide high-quality support for children both within and beyond the classroom.

About the role

Working under the direction of the class teacher, you will support teaching and learning activities that help children engage, achieve and develop confidence in school.

You will:

  • Support pupils individually, in small groups and within whole-class activities
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Encourage children’s independence, confidence and participation
  • Support children with a range of learning needs, including SEND
  • Promote positive behaviour and attitudes to learning
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources
  • Help ensure pupils are safe, happy and ready to learn

The role may involve supporting children across different year groups and with a variety of educational and personal needs.
