Hours: 40 hours per week, plus out of hours call out on a rota basis

Days: Monday – Friday plus out of hours call out on a rota basis

Duration: Permanent

Duties

• First and second fix carpentry, door hanging (including fire doors) and DFG adaptations
• Installation of kitchen furniture, tiling and basic plumbing works associated with kitchen installation
• Diagnose and rectify faults within core and other trades related repair requests
• Communicate with help desk to provide updates on estimated completion time and materials used
• Maintain accurate records, including photographic evidence
• Assist on other works where required and participate on emergency repairs out of hours call out rota
• Adherence to health and safety, technical specifications and quality standards

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years trade experience and NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry
• Experience in UPVC maintenance and repair, kitchen and bathroom installations or fire door installations an advantage
• Must be competent in at least 2 other secondary trade skills
• Must have full driver’s licence
• Must be able to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
• This role will be subject to a DBS clearance

Salary: £36,144.76 per annum plus call out premium, company vehicle and benefits
