Process Operative SimplyFruit
SimplyFruit is a growing fresh produce company supplying some of the UK’s leading retailers. We are currently looking for Process Operatives to join our production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced food production environment. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing fresh fruit for production
Peeling, cutting and processing fruit products
Inspecting fruit to ensure quality standards are met
Filling and packing products on production lines
Cleaning equipment and maintaining hygiene standards
Following food safety and health & safety procedures
Supporting production activities as required
Working Hours
Day shift: 6:00am 6:00pm
Typical finish times vary depending on customer orders and production requirements, usually between 3:00pm and 6:00pm
Full-time and part-time positions available
Part-time roles typically involve 25 working days per week
Additional shifts may be available
What We’re Looking For
Minimum age 18 years
Good attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable and punctual
Able to work on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable working in a chilled environment (58C)
Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
Communicative English is desirable
Physical Requirements
Standing for extended periods during shifts
Repetitive production tasks
Occasional lifting of items up to 10kg
