Job Overview
As a Home Care Assistant you will support clients with daily routines, personal care and companionship. No prior healthcare experience is required; the company provides comprehensive, fully funded training.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship; share a cup of tea and a chat, listen and offer emotional support.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the client’s home environment.
- Record care activities and report any concerns to the care team.
- Adapt schedules to meet individual client needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal qualifications required; training will be provided.
- Good people skills, empathy, caring and compassionate nature.
- Positive and professional team‑working ethos.
- A minimum of 12 months and no ongoing right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Availability to work alternating weekends.
