Maintenance Engineer

We are working with a specialist multi-site manufacturer to appoint their new permanent days Maintenance Engineer.

Initially working 8am to 450pm and then after training moving onto a 10am to 7pm shift – but with option to work a 4-day condensed week.

About the role:

• Maintenance and upkeep of production machinery.
• Fault finding and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Ensuring production quality standards are maintained.
• General factory and building maintenance.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Full clean drivers license
