Colindale, London (Hybrid) – Temporary, 12 weeks. Start: 9th June 2026.

Organisation

Barnet Council’s Family Services team is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support a temporary peak in workload. This is an inside IR35 engagement, working 36 hours per week on a hybrid basis from their Colindale office.

Role

You will join a busy children’s disabilities team, providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people with a range of disabilities. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care plans and supporting families to achieve the best outcomes for their children.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is essential.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritise effectively.
• Strong communication and report‑writing skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced local authority environment.

Rates

• PAYE: £29.06 per hour
• Limited / Umbrella: £39.93 per hour
