About Us
Care Dorset launched in October 2022 as a new provider supporting adults across a range of support models and settings, including reablement, day services, supported living, and residential care. We are a local authority trading company, wholly owned by Dorset Council, with strong ambitions to innovate and transform existing services to deliver better outcomes for people and to grow commercially.
We are people focused, genuine, and have integrity. We will develop and work as a team. These values define our personality, and they are the basis behind the decisions we make every single day – they are the Care Dorset way.
We want people who wish to make a difference to lives and work in a dynamic, supportive community environment. Whether you come from retail, hospitality or other service backgrounds, or are starting your career, a role as a support worker will be one of the most satisfying decisions you can make.
Supported Living provides independent living opportunities for those who cannot or do not wish to live alone, but also prefer not to be in a residential care home.
