Job Description:

Our client is Sofina Foods, one of the UK’s leading pork processors. The role is based in Scunthorpe at Billet Lane, DN15.

General Warehouse Operative duties
Driving FLT or Counterbalance trucks in a busy warehouse environment
Manual handling
Scanning products and completing paperwork with high attention to detail
Perform daily duties as part of the Warehouse Team while working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards specified by customers
Complete all relevant paperwork such as temperature records accurately and within time specifications, and store or deliver to the correct personnel
Maintain general hygiene duties (clean as you go)
De‑rack, rack, load and operate MHEs
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices – safely, hygienically and through correct quality procedures
Ensure 100% accuracy of picking orders and maintain good time‑keeping
Work effectively in a cold environment with all relevant PPE provided
Work in a fast‑paced environment with a positive attitude
Be reliable, punctual and self‑motivated
Commit as a team‑player with a keen eye for quality
