What will I be doing?
As part of our supportive team, you will develop and grow into delivering a great service within the Grounds department. Alongside the Grounds Manager you will be a fundamental part of the smooth running of the guest journey from the moment each guest arrives. By working together with a large diverse and multi‑skilled team, you will ensure all our guests enjoy the highest quality stay with beautiful views.
What are we looking for?
- Someone who can work independently to care for the maintenance of gardens, grounds and facilities surrounding the hotel.
- Able to use and maintain a range of equipment including hand tools, strimmers, mowers and ride‑on equipment.
- Experience in all aspects of gardening work, including digging, planting, mowing and basic tree care.
- Be guest‑focused, always having a positive and problem‑solving attitude.
- A people person who puts the guest journey at the heart of everything they do.
- A willingness to learn and improve knowledge on cleanliness, hygiene and our standards.
- Someone who will care about the wider team and look to support wherever needed.
What skills do I need?
- Previous experience as a gardener will help but is not essential – willing to learn about gardening covering a large area of ground.
