Road Freight Coordinator

Road Freight Coordinator (453461) Redditch, England

Salary: GBP32000 – GBP35000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Road Freight Operator to join our busy operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing European road freight shipments from booking through to delivery, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate European road freight shipments
• Arrange import and export customs clearances
• Manage customer and supplier communications
• Prepare quotations and negotiate rates
• Monitor shipments and resolve any service issues
• Complete job administration, invoicing and documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Previous European freight forwarding or road transport experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively
• Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
