About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Support Workers to provide care for five individuals with learning disabilities in a welcoming home setting. The role is temporary for an initial period of six months and may be extended or made permanent.
Job Details
Location: CockermouthHours: 24 or 36 hours per week (mostly days with very occasional nights required)Shifts: 8 am – 8 pm (all roles will include some weekends)Contract: Temporary, with potential to become permanent after the initial period
Driving Licence & Vehicle Requirement
Applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a private vehicle for flexible travel to and from the home.
Responsibilities
The home is a lively, stimulating environment with:

The people we support enjoy walks, visits to the pub, shopping trips and sharing laughter and good humour. A strong sense of humour is key to thriving in this role.
