Bank Support Worker – Domestic Abuse (Female)

Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Zero hour contract
Location: Swindon
What will you do
- Maintain the safety and security of residents and the building at all times
- Carry out regular property checks, including communal areas and resident rooms
- Control access to the building and complete routine patrols
- Provide practical and emotional support to women with complex needs
- Manage incidents, emergencies, and complete accurate reports
- Maintain records and deliver clear handovers between shifts
- Promote a clean, supportive, and structured environment
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational procedures

What we are looking for
- Experience or understanding of working with vulnerable women and complex needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to best practice
- Ability to remain calm and professional when managing challenging situations
- Strong communication skills and confidence in building therapeutic relationships
- Good IT and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Empathetic, non-judgemental approach with strong professional boundaries
