Machine Maintenance Operative (Ref 10649)

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £32,800 plus outstanding benefits once permanent, including monthly production bonus

Shift: Double day shift (own transport essential)

Temp to perm role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate all CNC machines efficiently in the machine shop
• Provide support in ancillary areas when required
• Coordinate with cell technicians and skilled CNC machinists as needed
• Inspect and work with inspection cell as required
• Perform routine housekeeping duties
• Ensure work order routines are completed correctly at every stage

Personal Attributes & Experience

• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive with excellent attention to detail
• Experience working within a machine shop/engineering environment
• Ability to complete work in a timely manner
• Previous engineering experience with CNC knowledge required
• Preferable: BTEC or A Levels in technical subjects (college/school leaver acceptable)
