A pioneering primary school in West London are searching to hire an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support the learning of children at the school. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will have a focus on supporting students who face challenges such as Autism, ADHD, and mental health issues.
This school is looking for an enthusiastic, patient and sympathetic individual to fill the role of SEN Teaching Assistant and work one to one with children who need academic and emotional support to pupils who need it.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology/Criminology/ Social Sciences graduate to gain first‑hand experience before pursuing a career in Psychology, Youth Mentoring, Social work, Counselling etc.

About the SEN Teaching Assistant 1:1 Support Role
- Utilising your creativity to excite and inspire pupils,
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils across Key Stages 1 & 2 with behaviour requirements, as well as SEN,
- Tailored, high‑quality CPD,
- Making learning accessible and engaging for a range of SEN (ASD, Dyslexia, ADHD).
SEN Teaching Assistant – Person Specification
- 1:1 or 2:1 Degree,
- Understand of SEN,
- Experience with children (personal or professional),
